Oh my gosh! Staying in Pompano Beach for work and I seriously don’t want to go anywhere else. Maurizio and Renee are my FAVORITES, and the food is beyond phenomenal. If they get busy, there can be a little wait, but they always go above and beyond to make up for it. Everyone is friendly, great atmosphere, and I just want to hug them all. Make sure to get the Yellowtail Jalapeño appetizer and the Bao. If I could give them a zillion stars, I would.

Such an hidden gem. Greeted with such hospitality by the hotel staff, who led me to the restaurant. Anthony, the server was amazing. The sushi I had was amazing. Ambiance, presentation and service were all on point. Looking forward to coming back for the Omakase Experience.

We tried out Sushi Lab for their New Years Eve Omakase special and it was great! The fish was very fresh, expertly prepared and seasoned. I am glad that Pompano Beach has an Omakase option in a beautiful beachside location, been waiting for one. Also, some of the bad reviews I saw on here obviously don't understand what Omakase is, so do not be deterred.

Located at the end of the Residence Inn, Sushi Lab has fantastic views of the beach and ocean. Going to their website it looks like they have sister locations and are very fancy sushi restaurants, but this location also doubles as the hotel restaurant and has a lot of standard options.

I happened to be there while Hurricane Ian hit Florida but luckily this area escaped any major impact. It was very rainy and windy so didn't feel like venturing out, so decided to give them a try for lunch.

The restaurant is moderately sized and you'll need to use the hotel valet if you drive here. Staff was very friendly and the food was very, very good. I ordered the edamame and some yellowtail jalepeno sashimi for my lunch and it all came out great. Everything was actually very reasonably priced and I wouldn't hesitate eat here again.
