“Decent burger (out of 10, I’d give it a 7.4). Chili cheese fries were good. Hole in the wall type of place that looks like it’s been around for a while. I enjoyed my time and would come back. They charge extra for lettuce and tomato, but have pickles and onions for free on the condiments bar. This was the only confusion from my part as I couldn’t understand why they charged the 40 cents extra. It doesn’t break the bank... but still, just include it. It’s a typical topping for a burger. Otherwise, everything was good.”

“We stayed at a resort within walking distance of this place, and tried it twice. Once for evening cocktails and again for Sunday brunch. Both times, the only seating was under the chickee hut. The evening visit was quite windy but the Sunday visit was a beautiful day, a bit breezy. Both times only a few people were seated. We thought this fabulous location right on the beach would be busy. We had our choice of tables. On Sunday, some of us ordered off the brunch menu, others from the regular menu. Service was good, though a bit slow. Not a big deal on a lazy Sunday morning. The food was excellent. Both times there was live entertainment.”

“Not just another cafe. Called up Cafe Brie to inquire about gluten free options for my daughter. I asked the gentleman if gluten free crepes were available. He said, "Well, we have gluten free flour so we can try". My family and I drove over to the cafe, the chef indeed made a gluten free crepe and daughter was thrilled. She enthusiastically described it as "AMAZING". Thank you Cafe Brie for giving my daughter an amazing experience. Your hospitality and culinary skill are greatly appreciated.”

“The outside seating as lovely the wait staff was good. I have to say that the food was less than satisfying. lobster mac and cheese look like it was Velveeta cheese being used and not traditional mac and cheese noodles and the lobster was rubbery and not appetizing at all. the swordfish special with broccoli rabe was delicious and tasty. The salmon dish was delicious as well. I paired with sweet potato fries was a little odd. my husband ordered the whole red snapper special and he usually likes this but this preparation was less than par it seems like they were covering up the fish not being as fresh as anyone would like. the fish was not fried hard enough to really enjoy the outside of it and the fillets from inside the fish were flash-fried as well over all the sauces are great but the preparation not so much. We searched for a fancy restaurant is that that is what my eleven-year-old daughter wanted and when it's dress up and go out the atmosphere was lovely but I would say this the service was like almost a diner and the food was substandard comparison to the prices.”

“The truth is the food was wonderful and our server was very attentive. She was knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. My issue is with the manager on duty. He greeted other tables...stopped to check how they were doing and pretty much ignored my husband and I. We were seated outside and the flies became bad when the food arrived. (Not uncommon an issue) We had a mist fan blowing on us which helped. The table next to us asked to have it moved on them. He did this with no regards to us...didn't ask if we wanted another fan moved to cover us. We had to ask our server if she could move it. I understand our bill for 2 people only being $96 was probably less than the 4 seated next to us but we are still customers. We are also locals...I would recommend The Rusty Hook often...sadly I will rethink the recommendation.”
