Bistro Creole

Lines are long, but its worth the wait. I eat at the surrounding Haitian spots, Bistro Creole has better flavor then them. The plates are packed nicely. Order your food over the phone and then pick it up in 20 minutes.

What I can say is the food was really good. Definitely authentic Haitian food. What was upsetting was the customer service which Haitians are very bad at. I placed an order over the phone and when I got to the restaurant to pick up my food, I had to wait 35 min because supposedly they didn't have what I ordered. When I was about to walk out without my food, they miraculously had my food and I waited another 10 min to pay to finally get my food. I love Haitian food but I hate going to Haitian restaurants because of poor customer service.

As someone who is half Haitian and used too great Haitian cooking, the food here is average. You should be able to see the meat in the "Legume" dish. If I ask for fried plantains, I expect them to be a nice yellow color and very crispy not "brownish", pliable and slightly sweet. Overall, I wouldn't spit it out.
