I went here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was a great experience.
This was our first time trying Nigerian food so the owner came to our table and helped us order.
I got the jolof rice and my boyfriend got the pounded yam.
The portion was huge and there was so much juicy tender meat in the jolof rice, it was more than enough for us to share. The food came out hot and fresh and everything was absolutely delicious.
The food and the amazing customer service will definitely bring me back.
The food is really good. I got the fish and FuFu and it reminds me of my friend’s authentic African food. I highly recommend. I wished it was a little bit spicier. I’ll be back!
(My first visit) The food was good and well seasoned. The only issue I had was the toughness of the meat it was really car tire tough. Beef, Chicken and goat should be so tender that it falls off the bone. Definitely not the case with their meats.
The food is is authentic, don't let the bad reviews keep you from trying this place. She cooks from the heart and the food really shows the hard work and dedication she has. The portion sizes are more than enough for the price, she is very sweet and will help you with the menu. She is more than willing to explain what each item is so you understand what you are ordering. The menus are printed in English. It really is the only place that even sells fufu around this area. They have seating for large parties as well as a full functional bar.
