This place is a must try! It's a small restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The lady that took our order was great and answered all of our questions. We tried the bang bang shrimp, a bento box, tuna poke bowl, and humane steak bowl. All were freshly prepared and very tasty. Highly recommend trying this place out. We will be back.
Without a doubt my new favorite spot in Port Charlotte. Geniunely nice and caring staff; great service. The portions and quality of food for the price you pay is quite staggering. I'm making it a point to continue to try out the entire menu. It's so exciting to see a casual Japanese restaurant like this in town. They have much more to offer besides sushi and the other standard Asian foods that you may already be accustomed to from local places in town. Please give them a try!
It was a decent value…’though a few surprises. “Rainbow” roll was almost an avocado roll - see 3rd photo ... a little light on the pieces of fish. The miso soup was nice and “meaty” - see 2nd photo. This is my second trip. I stretched to give them four out of five stars. However, their service both times was polite and efficient. Please do remember, the overall value here is good.
Very fresh, friendly staff answered all my questions as I have had little experiences with sushi. Pictured is signature crunch roll, California roll, crispy cheese wonton. We also had signature Eel Tempura roll and the Alaska roll. Loved them all, everything was made fresh right in front of me. Will definitely be going back!!!
The Bento Box took a little bit longer than the other items ordered by the rest of my party. However it was delicious and very filling. I would have liked more green beans. The vegetable tempura was delicious and just what I expected but it was a lot of grease for one meal. Very reasonably priced for what you get.
There was a strong smell upon entering like there was a nail salon next door, but there isn’t one. It may be the materials from the new building or construction.
Edit: Came again and ordered a rice bowl, it came out quick and fresh. Very delicious, excellent value at $8. Now there’s a nail salon to the right of it but the smell didn’t seem to be as strong this time.
