Sonny's BBQ

Food was delicious, and hot. It wasn't crowded at lunch either, which was good. Our server was new so there was a wait and issues but she was kind and considerate so it was of little worry.

Great food and service. We went on a Wednesday noon, and it was not crowded, and they had a 50% off special that we wanted. Tasted great as usual and was quick.

We were sat as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress took our order as soon as we were ready. Then we waited and waited and waited some more. Finally our food was delivered. You can't rush perfection. It was the best food I've had in a very long time. I left with a full belly and a smile on my face. My waitress was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Sonny's BBQ in Port Charlotte, FL.

As at any Sonny's I had the all-you-can-eat ribs and they were great. I had Meagan as a server and she was fantastic. She constantly brought ought ribs before I needed them and she kept my water and hot sauce full. They have Frank's Red Hot sauce in the back if you ask for it by name. The manager tried bringing me a refill of ribs with only 4 ribs on it once, but after I mentioned it to Meagan, she brought me 8 the next time. Meagan was always cheery and quick- she definitely earned the 25% tip I gave her. I would ask for her again.

It was great. Had their famous baby back ribs, Mac & cheese, baked sweet potato, & sweet tea. All of which were delicious. Stopped by around 3pm, it was pretty dead which was good for us. Looks like it could be a little busy at peak times. Waitress was nice. Restroom and parking lot were clean. Overall great experience.
