Visani Restaurant and Comedy Theater

We had a good time. Almost every time we go we have a good time. But last night the guy we had was awful and it was my husband’s birthday. My husband noticed a service charge. He said it was the servers tip. The tip was put in they said it was because it a special event. But if my husband didn’t see that he would have tipped twice. Also that guy was so bad we did not want to tip him 14.00. I really didn’t think that was right and also my husband’s birthday was kind of ruined. We spent 150.00 on one night. But every time we went before was wonderful.

For special shows where the ticket price includes a meal the choices aren't that great and if you want to get the better food you got to pay an upcharge. Their little chocolate mousse cup for dessert is okay but there should be better choices for dessert. They also don't have choices in salad dressing. so this place,really to me, it's not ideal and I very rarely go because when they make you have to get a meal to see the show you want to see and charge $47. it's just an expense that becomes a rare treat versus something I can do every month.

This was my first visit there. I went for a fund raiser and the comedian Greg Morton was the evening's entertainment. That alone made the trip worth-while, but the staff for the restaurant was outstanding. The food was delicious and the prices were what I expected. Even after the show, while our party was saying our prolonged good-byes, the staff was still asking if we enjoyed our evening. This stood out to me because having worked in the service industry in my younger days, I know how tired everyone is at the end of the shift and wants to get the place cleaned up so they can go home as well. I will definitely be going there again.

Top rated customer service. Couldn't have asked for a better server. Disappointed with the food, was expecting excellent, but was just ok. Appetizer was over-cooked (server insisted on replacing without being asked). Main dish was more warm than hot. Sauce was bland for an Italian dish. For the price it should have been better. Show was enjoyable, but not incredibly funny. Was hoping for a better set. Probably won't return, but was worth a one-night-out for the experience.

We went for the show, but decided for convenience, to have dinner there.
The food was delicious.
A member of our party is a chef and also commented on how good the food is.
Highly recommended.
Service was excellent.
The venue was very clean, although the comedian, not so much.
We are not prudes, to be sure, but the dialogue was a little over the top.
We may come back, to enjoy the small separate area, just for the food.
