Tamiami Tavern

Heard all sorts of good things so we figured why not? Absolutely 💯 worth it. Food and service were excellent and the place was packed even at 5 pm. I ordered the small portion of the lobster & shrimp fettuccine and my husband ordered the pan seared sea scallops. Both were incredible. The amount of shrimp & lobster was crazy, even for the small portion. We're definitely going back!

The hype had me worried. Usually a newer place won't live up to it. The staff was very welcoming. We got a seat quickly and Justin, our server wasted no time setting us up. We came for the Beef on kummelweck. We came with years of west New York experience to judge it by, and we left with our bellies stuffed and smiles on our faces. The fries were just right and the perfect accompanying side. Stacks up to the best Beef on weck we've ever had. This will be a weekly stop for sure.

This restaurant doesn't open until 4:00. We were lucky to be in the neighborhood at 4:30 so we stopped in to have our little taste of Buffalo - the beef on weck (kimmelweck). My husband & I both had that sandwich, mine with a small side salad & he opted for fries.
The beef was perfectly cooked & just a hint of pink. Loved the rolls dusted with just the right amount of sea salt & caraway seeds.
The chef & our wonderful server, autumn are from Buffalo so no wonder they know beef on Weck.

I hardly ever write reviews but had to rave about tonight's dinner at Tamiami tavern. Autumn was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. The drinks were great and the food was amazing. Service was quick and easy. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! Thank you Autumn and the entire crew at Tamiami Tavern!

Was told the wait would be 45 minutes, but turned out to be 90 minutes. The food and service once seated was excellent.
