Stopped by for dinner tonight, if your in the mood for a burger this is the place. Had the BBQ burger and it was good! Hubs and daughter got shrimp, they enjoyed their meals as well. Good place for a low key family night out.
This restaurant features some really beautiful outdoor seating. It was a little pricey, but everyone at my table had nothing but good things to say about the food. Not to mention the fact that they also feature more than a couple vegetarian and vegan options! I definitely enjoyed my meal here.
Food was delicious and filling. Special for the day was each kids meal was free with each adult entree, so our three kids are free with our three adult meals. Prices weren't bad. Ate outside by the water kids loved looking over. Great experience.
I normally thoroughly enjoy the Brewhouse. Food was great as usual today, but our server needs more customer service training. Brought our drinks promptly, didn't leave straws, had to flag him down. Meanwhile appetizer arrives, no small plates to share it. Had to request small plates, them main course shows up before the plates. When I mention this, waiter says, well we are slow and it comes out fast.....what part of appetizer does he not understand? Lastly, table next to us left, and plates with leftover food still there. Waiter went by twice, did not remove. Needless to say it became inundated with almost a dozen birds...when he came by the 3rd time, I mentioned the invasion of birds and he walked right past the plates again. Very disappointed this time.....this server needs re training.
This used to be Scotty's Brewhouse, a chain from the mid-west. It is under private ownership now so we gave it a shot. The menu is average and misses the mark for the great atmosphere. There were two of us and our meals came out 10 minutes apart without any explanation. The portions were large and the food was good. I am giving it four stars as opposed to three because I believe it's worth trying again, hopefully for a better experience.
