Whitey's Fish Camp

Pretty ok view. Interior could use an update, as it has a very old feel to it. The food is fairly average because the focus is basic fried seafood. Would love to see them get more creative with the menu. I dig the local feel, being that this area is flooded with chain restaurants. Will revisit at some point.

I've used Whitey's in a couple of different ways.

As far as the restaurant goes, you can't find a more "Florida" restaurant. The food is so good I used them for my rehearsal dinner. Everyone (over 40 people) had an incredible meal.

They accommodated us in such a fantastic way, and I couldn't have been more pleased. We had plenty of space, amazing food, and a great environment to hang out in.

The atmosphere is awesome. They had live music after the meal and many of my guests stayed for several hours into the night enjoying the band and playing pool.

Additionally, I've been low on fuel out on the jet skis whilst cruising on the river a few times. They were the only gas pumps open out on the water both times.

I love whitey's, I'm thrilled to have them in our back yard. I hope they stay forever.

The food was delicious and served hot, a pet peeve of mine. The salad bar was fresh and well maintained, no drips or drops. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. She was very upbeat and cheerful. We had plenty of time to enjoy our salad before our hot entrees were delivered. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Great variety of food. Absolutely great service. Went in with a party of 26 and they were thorough fast and courteous! Would definitely go again when in the area.

My husband and I are pretty particular about seafood, but love Whitey’s! We ordered fish sandwiches which were delicious. I love the atmosphere of the outdoor seating area Our waiter was friendly and the cooks are accommodating as long as they’re not super busy.

Rumor has it that you can dock your boat at Whitey’s and they’ll prepare your catch of the day for you. I don’t have a boat to try that out, but pretty awesome concept!

They also have a bar area that I haven’t visited yet. We had a wonderful experience. Oh! And their hush puppies are delicious!
