La Catrina Tacos & Tequila Bar, Middleburg

We were here from out of town and asked for a recommendation. We were told 💯 La Catrina and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is welcoming and very festive with beautiful decor and lighting! Karina, our server, recommended the daily specials and everything arrived quickly and was delicious. We live over an hour away and will certainly come back to visit!

Since I discovered this place a few months ago on happenstance I have made it a point to go out of my way once a week for lunch here. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and playful and the staff are very friendly and personable. Not often I give a 5 star review, but this place deserves every bit of it!!!

I was looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch break and was on a time hack. La Catrina satisfied my craving for streets tacos and delicious margaritas. Their wide selection of food options and beverages motivated me to refer my coworkers to their location. I had chicken and shrimp tacos and my coworker had a molcajete; it was exquisite. Their outside aesthetic does not match their inside and that was the most captivating. My server made the experience even better due to his positive attitude and knowledge of all the food/drinks options. Will be returning soon

Visiting Familia in town and my daughter found this beautiful establishment! Upon walking in I was impressed with the murals on the wall and the lively atmosphere with all the beautiful colors.

I ordered the Esquite and it was delicious. I also went with the Quesa Birria Tacos and OMG it was one of the BEST birria we’ve ever had! These are no little tacos, these were fully filled THICK tacos! The consome was that extra YUM to it! I also went with a Sope…Carnitas was my meat of choice. It was sooooo good and all the toppings were perfectly portioned. My daughter went with the Nachos Grandes she was not too impressed, but they were tasty. Overall, we had a great time! amazing food, atmosphere, and customer service.

Second time trying this restaurant and we loved it even more then the first time we visited on 5 De Mayo. That day they had a long wait! However, it was worth it. They had a live band outside and we listened to music while we enjoyed some Margaritas which were AMAZING!!! Yesterday, we had a very large party and they were so wonderful accommodating all 16 of my guest! I celebrated my Birthday there and all my friends loved the food. They staff even sang for me and gave me a shot! 🥳 What I loved the most was that I didn’t have to cook or clean when we were finished. We can’t wait to go back! The inside of this restaurant is so beautiful. I just love all the colors.
