Late lunch with my sweetheart. She had a brisket sandwich with french fries. I had BBQ beef tacos with baked beans. The bun was sweet and the brisket was delicious. The tacos were very flavorful and the beans were just right between sweet and savory. The tech fries were better than most places, slightly on the large size, but nicely fried with a crunchy outside and fluffy interior.

Great barbecue! Sides are delicious. If you like BBQ beans, this place has some of the best. Will definitely be returning.

I ate here three times during my week stay in Jacksonville and enjoyed it each time. The sandwiches and meats are great, as are the sides. I highly recommend the okra (though salted enough you'll feel your blood slowing down) and the cornbread. It's similar to a communal eating place so there are just several long tables. In the same room is a sweets shop, whose chocolate cake was among the best I've ever had.

We consistently love 4Rivers. The first one we ate at was in Orlando, and they have great BBQ at all if heir locations! We enjoy the Okra, Cheese Grits, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mac and Cheese, and Green Beans best with our meat selections.
We typically get 2 platters with a meat and 2 or 3 sides and share with our toddlers. It’s a pretty good value for a smaller family of four. The Bakery is delicious as well! Cupcakes, Buckeyes, Cookies - can’t go wrong!

I ordered a Pulled Chicken sandwich. It was well seasoned and tender. I also ordered fried okra, which had a little too much salt for me. The corn was very good. Also, the manager walked around and talked to customers, which is rarely seen in restaurants. I'll definitely eat at this establishment again.
