Italian Deli and Market

This summer I spent a considerable amount of time tasting key lime pie across the island. This is the only place to actually get it right. It was perfect. The owner says his wife makes it well god bless her for perfecting such. Too bad it was the last alive of the day, or I would have purchased a pie to fly home with.

Not quite what we thought it was, but good, fresh food and friendly service.

The first impression upon walking in was uh oh???? because the refrigerators were empty and the place was cramped and messy. I was planning on walking out when a girl came to the counter and asked me if she could help me. I felt bad walking out so i figured i would ask if they could make me a special sandwich that was not listed. She told me she could do that so i ordered hesitantly. I took it home and was totally shocked at how good the sandwich was. The bread was almost as good as the bread you would get in NY. Dark and crusty. The coldcuts (prosciutto, capicola, sopprasatta and swiss with lettuce oil and vinegar) was fantastic. The coldcuts were fresh and it was made very generously. I was so happy. They definately need to clean up the clutter and find a better location so people can go and check them out.

This place is legit! The prosciutto/fresh mozzarella sandwich melts in your mouth. Bread is fresh & has the perfect amount of crunch. Pizza is great also. Sauce and crust are very good. Homemade sausage & pepper sandwich is amazing! They have great salads too. I’m from Chicago and my family is Italian and are excellent cooks. I’m used to the real deal Italian treats. This place is the real deal.

My sister and I wanted pizza and we love hole in the wall type places. We went on the recommendation of one of the locals and the pizza did not disappoint!! We only wanted a slice but they dont serve slices after 3pm. After ordering a whole pizza, we ended up eating the whole thing before the night was over!! This is real New York pizza and was served hot with perfectly melted cheese and a crispy crust!!! I highly recommend this for deli for the best pizza. We will definitely go back!!!!
