My dad has gone here a few times for breakfast and loved it. I’ve gone with him twice for dinner and have to agree. The food is just amazing - I’ve been blown away both times I’ve gone. The prices are great for the quality you get - frankly, I don’t know how they can offer some of the dishes at such a great price. The staff are super friendly and personable... they genuinely make me feel welcome and appreciated. Both times, the owners have said hello to the patrons and asked how everything is... they truly value their customers. The decor is gorgeous, very warm & inviting. Angelo’s is probably the best ‘mom & pop’ restaurant I’ve been to in a very very long time. I cannot recommend them enough.
I used to go to the previous restaurant in this location (Lulu's) for breakfast. After a number of visits over a few winters with indifferent servers and below average food I gave up and started going to the nearby Skillets. Someone had advised me that a new place had taken over the space so I thought I would give them a try. I have been there 2x in the past 10 days and the staff is overwhelmingly friendly, the food comes out fast and I have again put them on my breakfast list. One suggestion. This is Fla. Can we get grapefruit juice on the menu please??
Good food and friendly service
My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner here, and had a very enjoyable meal. Apparently they just recently started serving dinner, but from where we sat, you'd think they had been doing it for years. It’s a quaint little place, and they have a small menu with some traditional southern favorites that should please almost anyone. We tried several items and left full and happy. The meatloaf and catfish were done perfectly, and the prices were pretty reasonable. The service was attentive and the family that owns the place is very kind and hospitable. We plan on returning to try out their breakfast. If you’re looking to escape the long waits, high prices, and often pretentious nature of other Naples restaurants, we suggest you stop in to Angelo’s for a nice home cooked meal, to go along with friendly faces.
An inviting, family friendly ambience provided at Angelo's Southern Grill, a newly opened restaurant in Naples. The Spinach Cobb Salad and the Crunchy Grilled cheese were just perfect. Definitely would recommend. Thank you for the wonderful meal!!
