Atmosphere—check. View—check. Food—holy moly delicious check! Service—needs work.
The interior transformation is really nice—I’d personally take out the center row of tables, tho. The view of the bay and sunset were gorgeous and can’t wait for cooler weather to dine outside (they are currently seating both inside and outside). The menu is solid Italian and in the $25-$50 range for entres. Grilled calamari, lobster ravioli, and sea bass special were all fabulous!!!!! Wine menu is decent but our first glass of white was served at room temp. I understand this is a new restaurant and the staff is figuring out the bugs, but a little friendliness would go a long way—zero warmth from anyone! I will certainly go again because the food is amazing, but if I have the same attitude from the staff, sadly, I probably will not return for a third try...
My wife and I had an incredible dinner for our 35th anniversary at Osteria Capri. The food was beyond amazing and the service was impeccable. On top of everything, we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. Osteria Capri is a restaurant that you definitely want to try. Chef AJ is the best!!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner this evening at Osteria Capri and was blow away by the atmosphere , service , but most of all the quality of food and presentation! We consider ourself as fine diners, and this quaint restaurant was by far on the top of our list! The Chef AJ Black certainly has the experience and the passion needed for the creation of a memorable dining experience.
Impressive all around especially since I believe this was their first Saturday after they opened!! The service was friendly and professional, the view is gorgeous overlooking the water and the food was exceptional. We already made a reservation for next Saturday. Make your reservations soon. This restaurant is going to be booked. The eggplant caponata with homemade flatbread was so good we ordered more, tho we had plenty of food coming. My husband had Vongole Cozze Arrabbiata for an app. I normally don’t prefer tomato sauces with seafood but I may order next time myself because the flavors were exceptional. I had the Rughetta salad which was tasty and lighter perfect for my appetite. For the entrees delicious homemade Fettuccine mare e monti and I had Grigliata Di pesce with beautifully cooked seafood including tender octopus, perfectly cooked calamari, and other seafood. Good wine list including wines by the glass. I am very intolerant of conventional wheat/gluten however they make most items from scratch from Italian flour. Yay for excellent homemade food from Italian wheat!
