We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all wonderful. Our waitress Blanca took very good care of us, we did not have to wait on anything. Make sure to try the bucket of fun. The location was perfect, right on the backwaters with view of the boats.
Fun atmosphere on the water. Good food, service...but touristy. A little pricey. Worth it for first timers
My sauteed soft crab was good. A little too salty but otherwise we'll prepared. I am born and raised in Maryland and Blue Crabs are in my blood, I love having them. The server must have had a lot of customers that don't know what a softcrab sandwich is all about and wouldn't eat them when they show up, so he made sure I knew what I was asking for before he would place the order. Outside of Maryland, I usually won't order anything like this because when I used to travel for work I was often disappointed. This sandwich was the best one I've had except for the ones my father has made for me. My son didn't like their hamburger either time. Said the patty was terrible. They need to find a different supplier for the burgers. My wife and daughter didn't like the fried clams because the clam parts were rubbery to chew. I only rated so high because it is very hard to get good soft crabs even in Maryland. The coconut shrimp were also good my wife said.
Great, fresh seafood here! Came here on first night of vacation and had a great meal. Pete was an excellent server too. Had shrimp, crab cake, cheesy crab dip appetizer and cheesecake for dessert. Crab cake was okay (I'm not a huge fan of those anyway), shrimp were great and tasted fresh, crab dip was delicious and the cheesecake didn't look like much but was heavenly!
(Pro Tip: In one of the touristy magazines they have a coupon for free dessert ($5.00), but in one of the locals publications, they have a coupon for a free crab dip ($12.00), so look for those if you're visiting.)
Pinchers has a cozy feel like an independent restaurant. The menu has a wide variety. A little something for everybody. They're always also drink specials for those that need to quench a thirst. Great for kids as well. The service is always wonderful.
