“We decided to stop in and check out the Italian offerings. We were quick greeted and seated. We received great service throughout the evening. There's a large menu selection to fill just about any Italian dish hankering you might have. We went for the sole special. Breaded and light fried in olive oil and lemon then topped off with a nice bearnaise sauce. I would eat here again.”

“The food was excellent. For around $60/person (drinks not included), the quality and service aligned well with the price. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, seasoned perfectly, and cut like butter. They have a baked German potato dish that is flavorful, but the rest of the sides were humdrum. The decor, inside and out, was already dated when the restaurant first opened, and has only gotten worse since. It was clean and well-maintained. It is just the dark and drab decor of a 1960’s New York steakhouse.”

“While this location might have gotten 5 stars from me, I was initially very disappointed as the web site touted full belly clams as an offering. We drove 45 minutes to get to the location only to be told they did not have them, and hadn't for a while. BUMMER. But, the meal we each got was truly delicious. A scallop dish and a baked seafood dish...awesome. Service was a little curt but efficient. Would we do that long drive again? Probably not as we passed a dozen other locations to get here for FBC...but if you're in the area, the food here is very good.”

“I posted a one star review nine months ago, and received an apologetic response from the owner. We were certain we would never come back due to the poor service from the staff. Last Sunday we went back because all other Cuban restaurants in the area were closed. I am happy to report that they appear to have new staff and the service is 100% improved. We were acknowledge right away and were seated immediately. Food continues to be of great quality. I want to thank the owner for paying special attention to the bad reviews and making the changes needed to keep your business exceptional both in taste and service from your staff. Keep up the good work and we will give Havana Libre a second chance and continue to dine here.
