“We read the reviews about slow service and #2 rating for food. We went anyway for the sunset and were plenty surprised with top notch service from Chris D and our dinner was wonderful. Caesar salad with grilled shrimp (12 shrimp). Highly recommend for a low key casual dinner”

“Visited this restaurant during my vacation with my girlfriends. The greeter was TERRIBLE. She neither smiled, nor welcomed us to the restaurant. She told me to pick a table and put the menus down and walked away. My friend even suggested leaving but I thought it better to wait and see how the rest of the experience would go. Fortunately enough we were blessed with a wonderful waitress who more than made up for their needs-to-be-fired greeter. The food was good, I’ve had softer short rib but I was happily satisfied. Portion sizes were big and drinks were also good. Would consider returning if ever in the area again.”

“Took a vacation with my family to Marco Island and was looking for something different each night. All I have to say is that the food, service, atmosphere, outdoor seating, etc...was fantastic! Food specials and drink specials were amazing. We will definitely be back the next time we are down.”

“We came from Miami to celebrate my husband's birthday. The choice fell on this restaurant, as they read the reviews and believed them. Everything was so tasty, the service is excellent, the cook is a genius in his field. The bartender is also a professional, we saw how he easily juggles with bottles. We will recommend your restaurant to all our friends. And most importantly, the prices correspond to the quality of food and the level of such a restaurant. Very happy to have been here.”

“My family and I went here while on vacation. Was really excited about the place. The portions are pretty big, but the taste us hit or miss. My in laws both ordered the same thing, shrimp scampi, ones was great the other didn't like it. I got the famous fish and chips, the French fries were pretty salty and the fish was very bland. When asked I told the manager and he offered me the blackened snapper in place of it. It was delicious. The kids meals are big portions. The margaritas were very good, but the sangria was ok. It was Okay over all. The staff was friendly and the environment clean.”

“I am crazy about eating out, so after staying right across the street from MP this was the first place we tried, and ended up going there 4 times day after day after day. First of all obviously the food, just fantastic and for us, most importantly-service. We’ve had 4 different servers and even towards the end of the day, tired, these guys are just on top of the game. Never rushed us, answered all questions, don’t hover around but always there. MP you Rock. You got yourself a customer for life. Impressive!!! 10 stars!”

“You cant beat a dinner this close to the beach. The view was beautiful and the service was good. My husband got the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. I got the chicken fingers and french fries, they we good but nothing to write home about. The fries tasted like the oil was a little old they were fried in. But good experience overall. I posted the new menu because the one on here was not used now and I was bummed they no longer had the turkey BLT from the old menu.”

“I really wanted this place to be better. I wanted it to be better so badly that I came back here three different days. The view is beautiful, the staff are absolutely wonderful and for that this restaurant earns itself the three stars. However, in regards to the food I will go into a bit more detail: Breakfast: Buffet was great. It was complimentary for us. I would give the buffet 5 stars based on the fact that it out did many of the complimentary buffets we've experienced. Lunch: We ordered the bacon chicken sandwich and a burger. Both were very basic meals, neither really had much flavor and we're more on the bland side. Dinner: We started with the Calamari for appetizer. It was very rubbery and hard to chew and therefore we sent it back. Then we ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and a Seafood Stew type dish (forgot the name). The Mac and Cheese had little to no lobster for $32 and was very bland. The Seafood Stew was filled with 1 prawn, 1 scallop, a handful of clams, maybe a piece of lobster and some vegetables, also in the $32 range. To be quite honest the stew type dish could have been better served over some pasta as it is in many other restaurants. However, this dish also lacked flavor. I would really recommend the view and the breakfast to anyone interested. Again, service was very friendly and the views were great. However, the restaurant could definitely use either a new menu or a new cook. The prices do not warrant the quality of the food. One can simply cross the street and eat exceptionally higher quality meals for the same if not lower of a price.”

“Quinn’s is one of those places that our kids just assume we will visit once or twice every time we go to Marco. The food is very good, and the grouper and grouper sandwich are my staples. The burgers and various taco options are great, and the drinks are very good. We have always had great service while there, and love sitting at the edge of the sand and taking in the best view of the beach while eating. Finish the night off by walking away onto one of the best beaches in the world!”

“The buffet is top-notch! We ate at Maia every morning. The selection is simply unbelievable. If you don't see what you want, just ask. Chances are you will be accommodated. Personally, I loved their bagel bar. Huge delicious bagels with a huge variety of toppings to include lox, smoked trout, vegetables and meats. They also offer up a make-your-own Bloody Mary station. Vodka is extra, but they certainly don't skimp. Fresh squeezed Florida orange juice and the coffee is so good. The wait staff is super friendly and accommodating. The griddle stations will make omelets, eggs, pancakes, & waffles to order. The carving station serves up delicious ham. The cereal selection is quite nice, too!”

“Enjoyed Father's day at Ario. Wonder atmosphere and wonderful dinner. My wife and I had the shareable bone-in rib eye steak. Presentation was amazing, taste was memorable, but the temperature was a bit cool for my liking. The side items, cream spinach, potatoes, and mac-n-cheese were all hotter than the steak. The scallops were buttery and amazing. I would come back again for a special occasion.”

“Nice little place. Pizza is incredible - kids can't get enough. Salad is great too, for the adults. This place is much better now with the new cook and kitchen staff. Don't forget to get the plastic cup and have the free refills while you are around. We've been here daily for a week and it's still popular with the family.”

Parking can be impossible but Goodland natives run golf carts for you to ride in! Stay hydrated...it gets hot! Only for people who want to have a good time. If you want fancy, turn up your nose somewhere else...This is Buzzard country! This is a must go to at least once! And don't forget to vote for the Buzzard queen!”

“My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner last night. Our server Elaine was a delight. She was bubbly, attentive and lots of fun! We had the mussels as an appetizer, then I had the voodoo tile and my husband had the tuna fish which were both AMAZING! We ended our meal with the peanut butter pie which was to die for. Overall a great experience at little bar - I am definitely recommending this place to my family and friends :)”

“So happy this hidden gem has survived, we need everyone to try this place out and you will become a regular. The staff is super friendly, helpful and the service is well above par. The food choices are great for a small venue such as this. The water views and the occasional live band with full service bar makes this a true competitor for other spots nearby. The crab balls are more like tennis balls, they are great tasting and huge. The special fish dish has always been great. Think sauteed or blackened instead of fried or grilled. Bring your catch and they will cook it for you. And when in season, the stone crab claws are some of the best around. No inside seating all outside but covered in case of a brief rainshower. Keep this going and pay a visit, you will be glad you did !!!!”
