“What a find! We arrived to Lake City from a crazy day of travel, checked into our hotel & asked the front desk ladies for a local place they’d recommend. She didn’t hesitate & said Halpatter! So happy she did. Monday nights are Bingo nights. Walked in & was welcomed immediately. It’s a brewery with so many drink options to choose. But, the food was amazing too. The Cuban sandwich was delicious & the pretzel pulls were perfect. I tried a coconut coffee beer, literally amazing! Everyone was so friendly. We talked to the workers & the people around us. It seemed like we were invited to a private event! It’s a must do in Lake City. We are only here for a few nights & hope to make it back!”

“The farmhouse restaurant is a good buffet for lunch featuring made from scratch country food salads, veggies, meats, cornbread, and desserts. To drink: ice tea and sodas. One of our group was vegetarian and they priced the buffet at a child price including drink for that guest. We haven’t had the breakfast yet. The atmosphere is friendly and unrushed. The only thing I would like to see is a soft serve ice cream machine.”

“People, I’ve really tried. Over and over again I’ve tried local coffee shops, tried to find a more consistent cup of joe/espresso - hot or iced, cold foam or not, your choice of milk or not, flavored or frozen. The only better Cuppa I’ve ever come across was out of town, waaaay out, like Seattle or Italy. I’ve sampled other egg white wraps, mango?kiwi?iced tea (and a buncha other fruit flavors), chai latte - hot or cold. I’ve waited much much longer for these things and been far less satisfied. Bottom line? Yeah, I agree, the prices are high at Starbucks, but I’ve done the work for you here and I’m telling you, if you’re in the land of good coffee, go for it! If you’re in Winter Springs and you want a consistently above average experience, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, Starbucks is your place.”

“Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. The food was good, reasonably priced, and the portions were more than reasonable. The ice cream was fantastic! We tried regular and adult flavors and were pleased with both. I highly recommend the butter beer! Service was also pleasant and the atmosphere of the place was relaxed. I will be returning.”

“Delicious food,shrimp alfredo was so delicious, my husband had gator nuggets and really loved them, great mac and cheese. The peach cobbler was the best I ever had! The food and dessert portion are huge. Met the owners and they are so friendly and by the time you leave you feel like family. I love this restaurant and will be coming back.
