Salt Creek Restaurant

Seriously a true 5 stars, food was fresh cooked perfectly, the prime rib was cooked over a smoker had a fantastic taste and very tender. The others had seafood platters and could not eat it all. Friday Prime rib night, Saturday night fresh BBQ will definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys great food.

What's not to like? Good food, fast service and friendly staff. I had the Sunday chicken special, which was delicious and enough to share with my husband. He had a first for him, grouper gumbo, also excellent. A great place for seafood lovers and land lubbers alike. The view over the river and flats didn't hurt. This is obviously a favorite with locals, too.

It was our first time visiting this community. This restaurant has gotten great reviews and we found it to be a very good choice as well. Being a fishing villiage on the edge of the gulf we figured it had to be good. The town is made up of 350 full time residents that swells to 750 during the winter season. It sits right on lands end where the Suwanee River enters the Gulf of Mexico. Our server was from Fanning Springs several miles in land. We found the area charming and very much old Florida. The restaurant was very clean and friendly. The portions were very ample and tasty! I had the petite seafood boil and it was way more food than I expected. By the size of restaurant it was obvious that it served a wide area from many miles away and the boating population.

This is the best place in Suwannee, Dixie County Fl. with great views of Salt Creek and Gulf of Mexico.They have a large outdoor eating area with bar and large windows for dining in customers. I had the Blackened Grouper dinner. The Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger is great ! Clam Chowder is awesome ! The staff is friendly, great relaxing experience, We have eaten there several times, and will return.
