I found out about this hidden jewel last October. We were on our way back home from Orlando and decided to stop by after visiting family in Jax. The food was excellent. Cooked fresh to order and the wait wasn't long at all. We sat outside to enjoy our meal. This definitely a place to enjoy beautiful scenery and have great food.
Me and my girlfriend went there for the first time and had wonderful experience. Even though it was a Friday night and we had to wait in line, the service was great! I ordered the Captain Walters three way combo of shrimp, calamari, and crab cake and I loved it!! The sauce that it came with was a cocktail sauce and some kind of Mayo mustard sauce for seafood that was so good I asked for more!! My girlfriend was so happy with her food too! She ordered the red fish tacos with mango salsa and really enjoyed it! Overall our experience was fantastic ????????
Awesome food. Really loved it . And very reasonable. So we just stand in line . No reservation or table waiting. Once it's your turn, order food, pay upfront and find a table to sit and eat. This keeps the cost down i guess for awesome and tasty sea food !
Consistently great and fast service. The restaurant style is similar to Subway and Moe's, where your food is prepared in front of you. Wide variety of ingredients that look very fresh. Salads and pizza/salad combination also look great, although I've not yet ordered a salad. Good place to go if you're short on time but still want a fresh and healthy lunch.
I definitely recommend eating here! Need to say that up front. There was a wait when we went and it seems like that's pretty typical but even though the line is outside, it moved pretty quickly and the weather was enjoyable. You order at a counter and then find your own table which could lead to issues on a super busy night. The fried shrimp were great, as was the fried catch of the day (blanking on the name).
