Omg, this is my favourite breakfast spot. Love all their amazing creations. I've tried so many different menu items and they are all great. Its very hard to find a place where every item on the menu is amazing but they've nailed it. Service is always great. Pricing is great for such good food. Just can't give them enough props. Recommend to everyone looking for a great treat.
One of my favorite breakfast joints around town. Love how they have multiple locations to serve different communities around town. Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, and the biscuit based breakfast options are great. As much as I love eggs, and their gravy, the squawking goat is my favorite: Chicken with goat cheese medallion and pepper jelly.
Oh so yummy. Not the best place to go if you are on a diet.
The restaurant was very large (and full of people) yet clean and inviting. There is no table service but even though the place was packed we had ordered and received our food within 10 minutes.
The service was very friendly, warm, and welcoming.
The prices were very reasonable. The menu wasn't terribly deep in my opinion. If you are not into biscuits and gravy (or you are on a diet) this may not be the place for you. With that said the food (I had a nickel and dime and a cinnamon bun. The five and dime was a biscuit with bacon, egg, chicken, cheese, and probably something else in gravy (see picture). The mixture of tastes were just right and I would love to have another one... after I work off the calories.
I would highly recommend this place.
To be honest I am not much of a biscuit person, I find them pretty dry and I usually have to put a lot of butter and jam on them to be able to eat them. My sister kept saying how great this place was and so when I came out to Jacksonville we came here for breakfast.
I have to say I ordered the farmer and it was absolutely amazing. I also ordered a side of the sausage gravy also because I was told how great it was. I'm usually not a big fan of sausage gravy either because it just tastes like flour. I ended up disassembling my sandwich and eating the part with the bacon and cheese and apple butter by itself and eating the chicken and biscuit with a sausage gravy. It was like having the best of two worlds. The biscuit was absolutely flaky and moist and tasted wonderful. The chicken was fried to Perfection and had so much flavor. The gravy had huge chunks of sausage and a little bit of a kick. I had never tried apple butter before but wow, I absolutely loved it with the bacon and the cheese and the biscuit.
I ordered my son a side of bacon and eggs and the price was absolutely wonderful for what he got. He loved the bacon and eggs. All of the food looked wonderful and they have a great variety of items and they have no problem with substituting an item. I just wish we had one of these restaurants closer to where I live.
