I had the most incredible time trying Green Papaya Thai & Sushi Cuisine on Blanding. We were seated right away; there was no waiting. It had a very lovely ambience.
The level of customer service was exceptional! The pineapple margarita was recommended by the manager or another waiter, and it was delicious.
The entire staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive the entire time. To be honest, I was shocked. That is the best customer service I have ever received at a restaurant.
We've been here 3 times, and each time has been amazing. The first time, George (maybe a manager?) came over and introduced himself and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. He's greeted us the other 2 times like we were old friends. All of the staff that we interacted with were just as friendly. I also love that you don't have to wait for someone to send your server to your table if you need something. Whoever is nearby will gladly assist you. Everything we've tried has been amazing with a beautiful presentation, and I can't get enough of the Five Spice Green beans. Definitely our new favorite place.
This is my third time coming to this location and they do not disappoint. Green papaya has a wide variety of options from sushi, cocktails, and amazing Thai cuisine. The service from the bar was not the greatest and lacked enthusiasm, but they are typically always busy. (Something management should take note of if they need to rotate bar/ waitresses)
Took wife for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. First time visiting this place, and I will admit that our experience was amazing. We were greeted with smiles and guided to our table in less than 2 minutes. Drinks order was right away, and so the appetizers. The food in general felt very fresh and the sushi was even more fresh. The restaurant environment and overall feeling were pleasant. The server was friendly and checking on us constantly. My wife doesn't like anything from the ocean but ended up loving this place because it didn't smell fishy, and in addition, they have menu options for non fish lovers. We spent a bit more than expected, but it was well worth it. We can't wait to come back again for more delicious food!
This place knows how to plate food and make it look absolutely stunning. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food however can range with their appetizers being small in quantity for a larger price. The sushi is a bit of a hit or miss and I recommend sticking with the other Thai cuisine such as the curry. I wouldn't say this is the best Thai food in the area, however, I will say it is the most presentable. My favorite parts were the Thai tea, and the curry, however I did not particularly like any of the sushi I tried. I'm usually a big fan of mango sushi rolls, but these tasted off to me. It may just be my tastes as my husband said that his was alright. I think it's a lovely place and is great for a date night but there's better selections for even better Thai food elsewhere.
