The food is fantastic but the service is slow. Our waitress had little knowledge of drinks. We ordered Dewars and water and got Dukes Brown Ale beer. We asked for Titos and was told they do not have it and later saw it being poured at the bar....the martini was served 1/2 full in a standard martini glass.
This was my very first time at a Thai restaurant and I was very impressed. I had the sweet and sour chicken with the level two. It had just the perfect amount of spice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be visiting this place again.
This restaurant is a multi-sensory experience. It is a visual delight. Our dinners not only awakened our deliciousness taste buds but also provided aromas and presentation which added to our complete satisfaction. The service was excellent. I hope to enjoy the Blue Orchid again soon.
A simply wonderful atmosphere, and the warmest smile I've ever seen on a waitress. The walls and tables are beautifully decorated, and the silverware and glasses are sparkly clean.
The curry was fabulously spicy. My jasmine rice was a very good compliment and had a very cute heart-shaped carrot in the center. A very lovely touch.
Review Summary: Amazing meal with perfect service.
You can eat Thai food anywhere but this place will make you rethink what you previously thought was "good Thai". The location of the restaurant makes it easy to get to and parking is ample. We went on a week night around 6 and were promptly greeted and seated. The interior of the restaurant shows someone really put a lot of thought into the decor. The tactful art on the walls was pleasant and perked your curiosities. The attention to the selection of silverware spoke to the fact that the owner really wanted a great dining experience. We ordered the Green Curry with chicken and we simply astounded by the presentation, flavors and spice level. The food was perfect and I just cannot suggest how they would change anything. We both had a beer which was a little pricey but not outrageous. At the end of the meal the owner came to our table, introduced himself, made sure we were satisfied and shook our hands. Overall, you will not be let down when dining here and I hope you have as great of an experience as we did.
