Great place to stop while passing through the Jacksonville area, particularly for ease of access from the main highway. I am a fan of Cracker Barrels for overall consistency. This unit is above average with their high standards.
Our food was delicious. The staff had us back on the road in no time. (If there is a general complaint, its loss of road time in this chain...not so here.)
Highly recommend stopping at this unit.
No complaints on the grilled catfish, mac and cheese, carrots and cornbread. Consistently good food at good prices. And the raspberry lemonade is really great too.
The food is always great. It is truly comfort food. The staff is very friendly. They were a little slow getting the food out to the table but it was delicious. They have a good kids meal selection and healthy choices on the menu. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a daily lunch and dinner special which is a really good value. You can get breakfast all day if you want. Do yourself a flavor and get some good country style cooking.
As a brand Cracker Barrel is just perfect. They are consistent across all locations and we have been to quite a few of them. They are always accommodating as I like to build my own breakfast so we can share.
The fruit pancakes are totally perfect and the biscuits. Oh my goodness. I prefer to go here just for the biscuits they are perfect.
The hash browns are perfect especially if you add a scrambled egg.
But the pancakes, the pancakes just invite you to eat too many and sit with the satisfied smile on your face that only pancakes can do.
The store that is attached is also cute and they sell many country style things you didn’t know you needed.
I recommend Cracker Barrel to everyone. Get there early on a Sunday or you may have a wait for a table but there’s the proof of how good it is. Well worth the wait.
