Deerwood Bistro

Good place to eat. The Metro Diner was packed so decided to try Deerwood Bistro. Great pancakes and bacon with one egg over hard and cheese grits. It's a order and pay first place, which was new to me but no problem. Nice atmosphere. Staff were very nice. I think I will get the Ahi Seared Tuna Salad next time! Good pace to eat!

Deerwood Bistro is one of those lovely hidden gems of a restaurant. It’s family owned, it’s unassuming, and it has great food at a great price.

My favorite dish is the avocado salad with blackened salmon added. Their curry chicken salad is also quite delicious.

Highly recommend, especially as all the other restaurants in the same strip are always over crowded. This is a relaxing experience.

We had lunch here. The service is wonderful! Lots of smiles, very welcoming and just the right amount of checking on us to not be intrusive but enough to keep our iced tea glasses full.
The food was delicious. I had the Cobb salad. It was large and very flavorful. Nice mixed greens, fresh avocado...
My husband and his best friend eat here once a month or so. It was my first time here. I can certainly see why they enjoy it so much. Great place!
