1928 Cuban Bistro

First time visiting and it was wonderful! Their system was down, unfortunately, but they still took our order and we were able to pay once the system came back up! The food was delicious, the atmosphere wonderful, and the staff was awesome. It was clean and tidy, and the bistro itself is located in an easy to access area! Definitely recommend.

Well, I pretty much stop by every weekend for cafe con leche and/or lunch, so that should be a good indicator of what I think about the bistro! And I definitely don’t frequent Taco Bell that often (ref to the recent review). Understand everyone has different tastes and experiences, so to each their own. I can’t comment on other experiences but what I can say is that the food is always excellent and the owners and staff treat me like family.

My first experience here and visited at 3:30 pm so to avoid crowds. I came for the Cuban Sandwich and this place is highly rated. They were out of their store made plantain chips so I was supplied a commercial bag of chips. These were probably not as good but the sandwich was delicious. The pulled pork was a little stringy but tasted fine. The ham I usually like a little thicker cut but it blended it wonderfully with the Swiss cheese, pickle and mustard. The Cuban bread was perfectly prepared without over pressing and wasn't oily to touch. It was overall a perfectly balanced sandwich served warm and delicious. A solid 4 1/2 stars with a small deduction for the chips and plus for the politeness.

Happened upon this place because of being at UPS next door and it was my lucky day. First i looked at web menu and reviews. Great website! Menu has description and pricing, that’s something i always look for. Waited a little bit to order but food did not take long at all. And wow, great sandwich and reasonably priced. I highly recommend you get off the main road and check it out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
