Sonny's BBQ

Nice new remolding. Service and food was good. Only one thing wrong which could be easily fixed each night. Dust on wood walls between tables was more than one day of dust. Spoke to manager about dust so hope it will be addressed.

The renovated/redesigned Sonny's on Atlantic at the Home Depot is a excellent. The fresh salad bar with a meat side is amazing. The all you can eat special they are running is fantastic. The meat just about falls off the bones. The wait staff is always friendly and they make you feel like you are old friends. Never had a bad visit.

This is probably the best barbecue place in Jacksonville. Not only is the food good but there are many options. I like getting all you can eat dry ribs with the fixin's and I always get to take ribs home. The staff has a turnaround but the management has everybody treating the patrons is if they've worked there for years. Always smiling faces always there to fill your glass or to bring you more heat. Sonny's is definitely my place for BBQ

I really like that they offer all you can eat chicken, ribs, or pork. I usually have the all you can eat chicken, but sometimes I have the all you can eat ribs. When you have the all you can eat ribs, you can switch to pork and chicken (but not with the all you can eat chicken. You’re limited to chicken). The all you can eat ribs are a couple of dollars more than the chicken. I’ve tried both and both are delicious, tender and juicy. The staff are friendly and attentive to their diners.

This location has been recently renovated and there are several televisions located in the dining area. There is a salad bar located here. But I haven’t tried it yet so I can’t really tell you how that is like. One thing is for sure: I always leave stuffed! I feel like I gained five or more pounds after eating their delicious food here!
