Worked there for close to 2 months. Had some trouble remembering somethings and I felt like it irritated the owner, so he felt like he could talk to me as if I was his child. I appreciate the opportunity that was given to me but just because you run and own a establishment, doesn’t give you the right to speak to someone the way you feel just because I was an employee. Respect is a two way street. Very unprofessional. Example: I quit three weeks ago and was told my last check would be mailed to me. It takes no more than 3 days for mail to reach its destination, yet I’m not allowed to go pick it up. Mind you a manager told me my check was put on his desk and was said to be mailed out. I call the restaurant and to no surprise he’s never there. Why is my check being held? (Besides that, the managers Isaiah/Belinda are fair and very professional. The staff is awesome from the dishwasher to the cooks.)
Miss Mitchell, as the Manager of this establishment if there is any disagreement and or complains they go through the General Manager, Front of House Manager etc. Not the Owner. Beings your writing your review as if you were a customer I’m only here to clarify you with anyone who reads your false review you are an ex employee of
Went to eat dinner at the Cove last night. Food was clean and tasty, I enjoyed the meal in this casual relaxed atmosphere. My portions did not match the price but it was okay. Service may improve as it is fast-food like. Will eat there again that's for sure.
Nice little seafood place with an impressive menu. Something for everyone, we'll priced and courteous staff. We went for their shrimp seafood special which is done twice a month. Thirty pieces of shrimp either fried, grilled or blackened, with two sides for $15.99. At our table we tried all three, the fried and grilled was the best, the baked potatoes terrific but the Cole slaw, rice and blackened shrimp were just okay. The fried calamari appetizer was delicious. Definitely go on their shrimp special as well as any other night if your budget isn't a factor as I think there are probably some hidden gems to be had.
