Woody's Bar-B-Q - Jacksonville (University)

Great barbecue, and great burgers for people who don't love barbecue. My family has one of each, so I'm always happy to find a barbecue place where we can both get a great meal!

Woody's is always a great place to get great food for not a big price. Their smoked chicken is really smoked, not just an injection of "smoked solution". Great ribs too that are well seasoned and flavorful but not spicy. I like adding my own level of spicy with hot sauce rather than rely on someone else's interpretation.

The food was awesome. Great atmosphere. They have handicap and regular bathrooms. The only problem no handicap parking besides the one by the back door where there there are no lights. It's really dark back there.

Always a winner ????!! Got the chicken wings this time and it was a good choice, they grill them then fry or bake them your choice and man are they good. And actually a really good sized wing, larger than Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings!!! Of course people don't always go to Hooters for the wings ????!!

Good stuff with awesome brisket and fried squash. Little people always love corn nuggets and they're no less amazing here. Sweet tea was just like home. I'll be back!
