Famous Amos

Great variety of home cooked food. Would have given 5 stars but often too heavy-handed with the Salt. Salt is something you can always add. Great servers too especially Victoria

If you're looking for serious country cooking, just no fuss, no miss GOOD EATING, along with delightful service, then Famous Amos is your place. It offers some of my childhood favorites, like great fried chicken, incredible fish and even liver and onions!! And with breakfast being my favorite meal, I could just make myself sick on their made from scratch, so light and fluffy they float above the plate, melt in your mouth biscuits. They're just AHH- mayzeeng!! The prices are also very reasonable and your belly will be full, along with your wallet, when you leave. They do a great job with all of the food and they've been one of my favorite places to dine for decades.

I Visited Famous Amos as a party of 3 Adults and 2 Children under age 10. It was an early Saturday evening. The restaurant was not crowded. We were immediately seated and given a high chair for our youngest guest. The food for the children was free so we only had to pay for three adult entrees. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The menu was great as it had many options to satisfy everyone. Our soft drinks and water were continually topped off. Our waitress was extremely attentive. We were all pleased with our experience and glad that we chose Famous Amous. The entrees were reasonably priced. The atmosphere is that of a homey style diner. We lingered at the table to talk for a while. We were treated very well and will visit again.

I must admit this has been one of my all time favorite restaurant for about 20 years now. I've always had great service and for here. My last three times here I has the very best server ever! He amazes me with his sharp memory. No matter how busy it is, he is always attentive and professional.

I visited Famous Amos as a party of two mid week close to 12 noon. We were seated promptly. We were served timely and the food was excellent. The menu is vast in choices. Reasonably priced entrees. Comfortable and casual atmosphere.
