Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q

Food was good but they were short staffed. Server was very nice and attractive. Yea I said it. She was very pretty. She was overworked and didnt keep up with serving me but I didn't blame her she had two large tables and maybe more in another room. So I went and grabbed things I needed in the other dining room. Anyway she still tried to keep up with me even though she was really busy. Brisket was good and so were the beans. Nice smokey flavor to the beans.

I give you a 5-star because the cashier was wonderful and great and courteous the guy that was fixing my food was constantly talkin to me in a good way which that was nice and I thought that was great

Party of 12 and the accommodated us well in the back room. Several people were missing drinks or silverware and the waitress helped get some quickly. I have been to Bono's since I was a little kid and the food is always on point. The best part tonight was the baked beans. The ribs were a bit dry and tough but still tasted good. The only thing I have noticed over the years is the 3 meat salad has significantly gotten smaller and less toppings. There are newer bbq places arriving and Bono's needs to step up the game or keep their bbq consistent.

In Jacksonville working; decided to make a BBQ stop. Not sure if this is the original Bono’s BBQ, I never been in the other ones.. (might not even be related) The atmosphere was nice and casual. The people inside were super friendly. The food was delicious! They have a simple menu, but enough selection to come back and keep it interesting. The ribs were tender, the toast nice and buttery, the beans were sweet and the sauces were amazing. Stop by and get some great BBQ!
