(March 31, 2019, 1:44 pm)Not sure when the new menu or beer went into effect (been a couple years since I was last there), but everything was amazing. I got the Carolina Sweet sandwich with their Sonny Ale. Sandwich was great (had mine on garlic toast). The beer? WOW. That beer was very good, cold, and all around satisfying and paired great with the sandwich. It was si good; I went back the next day for the same thing. Wasn't a fluke. It was just as good as the day before. I hope they decide to bottle that brew.

(March 27, 2019, 8:52 pm)Next door to RaceTrac gas station. Lean sliced brisket sandwich on a bun w potato salad and baked beans sides. Delicious, Sonny's consistency! Busy at late lunch time. Lots of free parking. Fast friendly service.

(March 6, 2019, 3:03 am)I went to Sonny's to have a good bite of beef brisket. I do not think I made a mistake. Brisket was tasty and price is awesome. Portions were not too bad considering the price. Was not particularly in love with the boring and unpleasant service. But food was good.

(February 22, 2019, 1:19 am)The service was dismal. Things in her control were done halfheartedly.
I ordered a salad bar. She brought food to the table but no salad plates.
When she finally checked in with us I had to remind her.
I never got my piece of garlic bread.
My husband asked for extra bread with his all you can eat and she brought 1 piece per round.
The salad bar was low on many items.
But tasted good and fresh.
