We eat here 5 days a week. Breakfast or lunch each day. The serving size is LARGE, the staff is excellent. We just love Melissa. Wonderful place. And good prices.

I know this place as "Tad's" . That's what my dad calls it and I only come here when he wants to. He grew up here on the Westside of Jacksonville so he talks about places as he remembers them.

We rotate going to breakfast between Country Cabin and here when I'm in town. I prefer Country Cabin honestly. Nothing against the food or service but the place feels old and run down.

I had a patty melt, which was as it should be, maybe slightly above average. The bread was grilled nice and crispy. The meat was tasty and cooked med rare as ordered. The onions could have been cooked more for my taste but def still perfectly tasty.
