Pineapple's Caribbean American Restaurant

This food is the BEST CARRIBEAN food in Jax hand up or down! I love the service and how they treat you. Come and eat and experience what I have and known to be real true Jamaica food. I work in culinary and they are on point PERIOD!!!

The best Caribbean restaurant in town. Great flavor, wonderful customer service, fast service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste the real Caribbean's food. Give them a try right away. You will love it.

I live right down the street from this place and honestly found it by accident...visiting the chicken place right next to it. My son and I decided to try it out the next day.
When we first went in I must say we were a bit dubious by how it looked inside. We almost always sit inside a restaurant to eat just to relax,spend time together and talk. Well this was a great reminder not to judge a book by the cover.
The food was just fantastic is the best way to describe it. My son had the half pound pineapple burger and I had the beer fish. My son said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had, my fish was really good but the rice that came with it...well I generally am not a rice eater but wow...that was so good I ate all of it.
I would advise giving this place a try...don't judge the book by the cover but by what is inside the pages here.

This place is difficult to review. This location used to be a donut joint and it looks nearly the same inside. They did very little renovation in the inside. It's a relatively new place yet it looks dirty and worn down.

The next thing that really hurts that place is the attitude of the "waitress". Very rude, and doesn't even take your order, you have to walk to her (which would be fine if there was some signs saying that's how it works).

Those are what brings down the place. The ups are their food. Their cook is amazing at making burgers. And they have the spiciness on point as well. Their smoothies are radioactivitly bright and tastes very sweet. Nothing natural but still tasty.

Tldr; service sucks, foods good.
