Definitely smelled like a brewery, they could probably use a better exhaust system back in the brewing area. My beer was fine but my brothers said that theirs were some of their least favorite from their passport crawl.
Awesome experience. The head brewer was accommodating and informative and kegged me a beer while I waited to take home. Great place
Fortunately, some of the other breweries we planned to visit were closed since it was a Monday, so I went online and found this one. I see why it was one of the top rated breweries in Jacksonville. I enjoyed a flight of beer including a nice rum barrel aged Imperial Stout and their version of a pumpkin beer. Their swamp fries were a meal in itself. I highly recommend this and will stop
I've visited Bottlenose a few times. It's a great place to grab a beer and/or cider. There are many different beers on tap, including many local beers. There is a small selection of food as well. The items I have tried, such as the friend pickles and grilled cheese, were very good!
Stopped by on a Sunday evening. This was our first visit and the food was okay but the service sucked. I think the gentleman assisting us was having a bad day. I still gave a 4 as the in house beers were good and so were the hamburgers. The fried pickles were good but too salty. We requested that the wings be well done and they were not. The flavor was tangy mustard barbecue sauce and we liked that. Overall we left satisfied but not in a rush to revisit.
