Eddis & Sons Handcrafted Cheesesteaks & Sandwiches

Like I said before, I follow this truck all over town because the Cheesesteaks are so damn good, I even have my own shirt lol

Who the **** gave these saints 4 stars? I’m not exactly from Philly, but I once literally took a 300 mile detour from Pittsburgh to Philly on my way south because I couldn’t stand to be in the keystone state without going home for a steak... just trying to convey my level of dedication here. Their vegan steaks(vegetarian girlfriend) are better than most real steaks I’ve had. The real thing... it’s the real thing. Literal heaven. Looking forward to their brick and mortar opening up. In the meantime, find these guys, usually at Main & Six or the Riverside Arts Market, and eat their food.

The best cheese steak remind me of genuine Philadelphia cheese steak. Hey Jersey Mike take a hike. Eddis keep the traditional rib eye steak enough to fill you up. Best in all of JAX trust me.

Full disclosure, I grew up not in Philly but in Allentown about 45 minutes north, but I've eaten at least five hundred cheesesteaks in my life including all the big Philadelphia eateries like Jim's, Geno's, and Pat's. Eddis & Sons aren't just close to authentic, they ARE authentic. It's hard enough to find a good cheesesteak in Jacksonville, even harder to find a good Chicken Philly. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny. A very good variety of sandwiches to fit all tastes, and good variety of sides as well. They're fast and very personable. I can't wait to try more off their menu!
