Escape Restaurant Bar

5 points really needs a few restaurants with more refined food, so this place should be a good fit, especially since it's still pretty casual. It doesn't seem too busy yet (although we did go late on a Tuesday night), but the food is delicious, and they have a good variety of appetizers, small plates and entrees. The scallops, pot stickers, mussels, and the mushroom risotto were all perfect.

What a hidden gem! My daughter and I had no idea where to grab dinner before attending a performance at the Times-Union. We happened to get a great parking spot in Five Points, like that ever happens...so we grabbed it and took a walk. We found Escape and our fabulous server Meg. The drink and food menus were eclectic and so much fun. Our food, scrumptious, service, superb. Thank You Meg for a new favorite spot and new favorite server!

A wonderful addition to the food scene in Five Points. Great menu of new and delicious dishes. Friendly staff that offers excellent service. Their house salad is beyond good. The kachapuri is heavenly. Definitely a place that requires multiple visits to try all the intriguing dishes on the menu.

Great food and incredible ambiance for such a low key restaurant! The cocktails are amazing and the entrees are worth a try. I started off with the lumpia as an appetizer and worked my way to the Mediterranean food platter. Everything turned out to be very delicious! The service was a little slow, but worth the wait. Try the hookah outside on the patio while you're waiting for your food!
