Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Jacksonville (Mandarin)

Review was initially left on the Beaches location which I've never been to. It was intended for this location. Sorry for any confusion.

When I lived in Jacksonville I ate at this location 3-4 times a week. Never had a bad meal. Some staff members had attitude but I think eventually they either quit or were replaced which I was glad to see. Typically had younger people on staff. I don't know how it is now I haven't been there since July but I hope they've opted to keep an older responsible adult on every shift.

One time my chicken tenders fell out of the box and onto the counter. I watched the cook try to put it back on my salad. I told him he needed to make me a new one with fresh tenders, I wasn't accepting that. The cashiers upfront looked at me like I was crazy. They were young girls so I get that they didn't understand why that was unacceptable. That's why I mentioned there needs to be an older person on every shift and better training.

Also, I did detect a change in the lemonade over time. Not sure what happened but it was starting to have a more artificial taste. Still pretty good.

Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed every meal. I'll be moving back to Jax soon and I can't wait to stop by. I really miss it.

The food is Scrummy!! Delicious, tender and flavorful. The restaurant was very clean and the employees professional and fast. Best fast food place hands down.

My first time eating at a Huey Magoo! And boy the counter service is amazing Julie was friendly, energetic and happy to serve us and answer any questions. She showed us the app for easy or ding next time. She truly is what customer service should be. They are lucky to have employees who are happy to be there.

I ordered online and it took me about 15 minutes to get there. I was a little worried it would be cold by the time I got there but nope. The food was ready, hot and delicious! My son and I love eating here. 5 stars every time 😁

Great lunch. Chicken was wonderful. Store was clean. Service was friendly. I was a little confused on how you could get tenders rolled in sauce, but if you wanted sauce on the side, you had to pay extra for it. Other than that, the salads were delicious and worth trying!
