Ida Claire

This place is awesome! Probably one of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to in Jacksonville. It’s a new place and the decor is awesome, according to my wife. They have a lot of attention to detail with silverware plates and glasses. The server we had was phenomenal. One of the best servers I’ve had. So if you go ask for Riley. The food is fantastic as well. My wife went to the soft opening and told me about the food. She did not exaggerate. Everything was exceptional. The drinks were great too. We will definitely be back more than once and I recommend you go as well.

Great place and fun vibe. We got the fried green tomatoes to start, the sauce that came with it was amazing.
I got the pork chop, it was a fantastic, juicy cut that was so well prepared.
My wife got the Beyond a Burger - it wasn’t just a meat substitute, but was a flavorful thought out sandwich

The VP came by to check on us and seemed to genuinely cared about our experience and explained a bit about the food.

Our waitress was attentive and very friendly.

We will definitely be back!

Ive been twice and absolutely loved it!! Great atmosphere, flavorful foods, wonderfully crafted cocktails. Their vinyl/happy hour is great, too. Awesome service both visits. Definitely will be a regular!

My experience at Ida Claire was nothing short of phenomenal! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and delightfully quirky. You could come a hundred times and discover something new with each visit.

The staff was great and was very knowledgeable - not only with each plate on their menu but as well as the interesting origins of the restaurant, Ms. Ida Claire herself.

Joelle and Mike were fantastic servers and took such great care of us. The Pimento cheese dip and sweet potato chips were amazing! We ordered the Porterhouse and the Salmon - both were incredible. It was hands down the best steak I have ever eaten and the Brussels sprouts were prepared perfectly. Dessert, of course, was nothing short of outstanding as well. The Chef took the time to introduce herself and see that everything was to our satisfaction - not only is she an incredibly talented Chef but attentive and charming as well.

I can't wait to come back with friends and family to enjoy more of what I'm sure will become a staple here in Jacksonville, Florida as much as it is in Texas!

Ida Claire’s has the best food! Everything about this restaurant is done right from the appetizer to the dessert! The “daiquiri” was good, but it was more of a margarita than a daiquiri. The chicken and waffles was perfection!! The pecan pie was filled with sweet flavor, delicious!!The sitting area was great! The bar was the perfect location! This is a great addition to the St.John’s Town Center! The food has a ton of southern flavor and the atmosphere is like no other...a bar feel or your grandmother’s house. If you’re thinking about eating here, just stop and give it a try! Everything about this restaurant is done right!!
