The food is really GOOD and cheap. Food is always hot. The owner and staff there is always nice, friendly, and helpful. Miller's soulfood kitchen have my vote.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great food, great prices! Family feel, but check your order before you leave to make sure it's correct. Very accommodating and great daily variety!
Had the pleasure of meeting the person behind the screen door. She's a Sweet and Down to Earth person.
She has a Spirit that is untold just the few minutes I was in her company conversing it rolls over into her meals.
Enjoyed it Miss Butter.
I tried Miller's with a friend a few days ago, and was very happy I did. I'd read some glowing reviews, and a few that criticized service.
The question I'd ask is if those that criticized were even at the same place that I visited. The food was so reasonably priced. The menu was hard to choose from everything sounded so good. The staff and owner could not have been more pleasant, and genuinely cared that we liked it.
The owner told us somewhat apologetically that dishes sometimes come and go off the menu, depending upon what she can source, and what she feels like making. -- no need to apologize for THAT! All the better as far as I'm concerned.
Listen, it's no frills. You order outside, someone brings you your meal, and you either take it to go, or sit at a picnic bench. We chose the bench, and had great conversation with some other guests and the owner. After eating my fried chicken lunch, with mac & cheese, and some of the best greens I've ever had... I was so enticed by the active smoker out back, I ordered another full lunch of ribs -- and was very glad I did!
I drove from all the way over by where Butler meets the beach, but it was worth every minute of the drive for some true Southern cooking and hospitality.
Whenever I'm working in this part of town, I know what's for lunch... Miller's Soulfood!
