Mr. Crab Restaurant

The lady at the front was nice and explained everything as far as all the specials. There was nobody eating inside the restaurant but there were a lot of takeout people waiting but nothing too out the ordinary. The fish and shrimp were fried very good. Not too greasy. I also enjoyed the bake potato. Was not feeling the green beans ( seemed they were canned and not fresh). This place gets 4 out of 5 stars!!! Will come in again and try another side.

My first time eating here, food was tasty, nice atmosphere. My waitress was attentive and very nice. Only down side is they don’t serve alcohol.. darn! A nice Margarita would went wonderful with my fried shrimp 😂 .Would definitely come back!

If you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere with good food, this is a must. I’ve eaten here many times; the food and service is consistently good. The pricing is very reasonable and they have a full lunch menu with generous portions. It’s not fancy but it’s a favorite place to eat on the Westside.

I have ate here on three different occasions since the location has changed names and each time has been a good experience. The first time I had their seafood bag. Not your normal crab boil bag and seasoned light and different, but the taste was good. The second time I had their gator tail, fried fish and fries. The portions were good and the young lady checked on us regularly. Most recent I went and again had their gator tail, fried shrimp, baked potatoe, and fries. I could taste the seasoning in everything.... that I gave the cook a compliment. My sister had a crab boil bag and my mom had a side of wings (which they enjoyed), fried shrimp, green beans, and casserole. We enjoyed our food, the service, and our time. Would go back!!

Food was absolutely delicious and our waitress Destiny.. was above and beyond absolutely amazing!! My daughter whom has special needs, Destiny was Soo sweet to. I live in Lake City, but came to Jacksonville for a Dr appointment and didn't have great news, but Destiny absolutely made my day with her genuine personality!!
