Rod's Crab Shack Monument

Finally! Took me 3 years to find a reliable, trustworthy source for live crabs. Rod's is the place. A bit of a drive but well worth it. Rod was great, I felt comfortable right off the bat and knew I finally found my new supplier. Crabs were awesome, nice and heavy, good size and a very fair price. Can't wait to try some of his cooked platters. Bravo Rod! Pleasure meeting you my friend.

This place is awesome and very delicious.
4 star not 5 because it is far from my house lol but no seriously it's worth it. The chicken plate pictured 2 wings 2 breast 2 sides for 10.99?! Where can you order that anywhere for that price lol. Very generous servings very flavorful food. The gentlemen working is very welcoming. Personable and just down right a great guy. We will continue to keep coming back and telling everyone we can. I told him if I liked it I will and I came back with my family. Please show them some love.

We were visiting Jacksonville and wanted some seafood so we tried Rods. The guy who assisted us was very nice and friendly. We ordered the snowcrabs, shrimp, and fried shrimp. All of it was great. Perfectly steamed and fried with GREAT flavor. And the prices were extremely reasonable. You must try this place.

Great staff and great food! One of the employees who works there, his name is Pele (sorry if I spelled that wrong) advised me on the lunch special. I ordered two chicken legs and mac & cheese with potato wedges. Delicious food! I also met Rod the owner on a few occasions and is a very down to earth gentleman. Thanks again for the great service and I will be back and highly recommend this place!

The fried shrimp and wings are amazing!! The food travels very well it is still hot when I get home. It is very clean, great service😀 and the atmosphere is electric!
