Sake House

We ate here twice during our trip. The first was on a quiet evening. The service was friendly and attentive. The sushi is some of the best we’ve had anywhere, and the cold sake was so good. I returned the next day to get a to-go hibachi lunch. The place was crowded, and getting a staff’s attention took about 10 minutes. My food took another 30, and it was not very good. The portion size was also small based on what I saw on other patrons’ plates who were dining in. 5* for sushi. 3* for hibachi.

Have had many excellent experiences here. Tonight they were very busy and understaffed. Everything took far too long. They skipped our salad and soup. Other tables got theirs even though we arrived earlier. Just too busy and we were forgotten. The sushi was good as always so I can't give less than four stars but I hope they're better prepared next visit.

Customer service was great, the food was enh. Nothing special, the soup was cold but the sushi was fresh and delish. My shrimp dish left much to be desired, and my boyfriend steak was overcooked, dry and tough (medium should be juicy)

The food is always good and the servers are always kind, but do not come here thinking you'll be able to knock out a quick hour lunch break and get back to work. It always takes way longer than I would expect to get the food. I would recommend calling ahead for take-out and knowing your food won't be ready for a good hour.

Nikki was the most amazing service I ever had I would definitely see her again. Food was amazing as always.
