Shipley Do-Nuts

Pretty tasty donuts. I was searching around for a new donut spot to put into my life and stumbled upon this one, driving down Beach Blvd to Kernan. These donuts were soft, fluffy, and fresh. There are a variety of options to choose from, but I opted for a lemon, Bavarian cream, and an apple filled donut along with a glaze and cinnamon sugar donut. Decent price, and they have a drive thru. I recommend going inside, though, so you can see how great the donuts look, and you can see all the varieties they have.

Their donuts are so good, and they have a variety of flavors. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves donuts.

Inside it is the standard donut shop. Service is quick and there are good options. The donuts are flavorful and do not repeat on you like some donut places do. I prefer their blueberry glazed and find them to be better than Dunkin' Donuts, Island donuts or Krispy kreme. Their bear claws and apple fritters are very large in size.
The only negative is their cream filled does not have a lot of filling and what is there is very runny, My experience with all the other flavored donuts has been very positive: very good cinnamon sugar or plain sugar, as well as white frosted.
I am not a fan of the kolache, too much bread, the cheese is little kid cheese and lacks flavor and the bacon was like chewing bamboo. I will stick to the donuts. Yummy.
