Tacos Azcatl

Food is made fresh to order, taco size is bigger than expected, I’m so used to the small tacos I ordered more and had a nice surprise seeing how big they are.

I'm partial because I like REAL ethnic street eats ! You will NOT be disappointed , drop by ( location is right behind the gas station, BP ) , just follow GPS . I had tacos pastor, street corn and 🤣 " something else " ... Everything I tasted is fresh , fun and and AUTHENTIC !!!

It was my first time visiting this store. I will go back because the food was delicious and there is such a variety of choices to decide.

I'm from Austin, Texas and we know what good street tacos and taco trucks (or trailers) are like. Visiting my family in Jacksonville usually means going without my favorite foods: tacos, tortas, quesadillas, gorditas, gringas y mas! Arriving in Jax too late for a regular restaurant, I checked Yelp for the closest open food joint. Tacos Azcatl came up first and with the highest star-rating too! 10 minutes later I was standing in front of the menu board feeling like I had died and gone to heaven! Their menu choices are phenomenal and even make items with Flor de Calabaza and Huitlacoche! I ordered a Torta con Carnitas, a Quesadilla con Flor de Calabaza, and a large Horchata (gotta have a Horchata!). The food was hot, spot-on authentic, and the tortillas were excellent (looked homemade!). They had an enclosed trailer right next to the food trailer, that was built specifically for indoor dining (with A/C!). Great for hot sticky nights or just wanting a restaurant feel with your food. I loved loved loved this place! I definitely will be back, on my next Jax trip!

Had 1 beef cheese and bean burrito and 2 lengua tacos with toppings food is good not great I will say it has the nicest seating setup I've seen. Outdoor seating and indoor booth seating at a taco stand !!! Also you get a snall buzzer that will go off when your order is ready. My buzzer never went off as I just sat waited nice helpful service and good prices
