Taqueria Cinco

My first time visiting this place. A college buddy and his wife took me here while staying with them over the Memorial Day weekend. Excellent atmosphere, food, and friendly staff.

The Huitlacoche is my favorite of the veggie ones. Several great options for those of us trying to reduce meat. The Al Pastor, only on Friday and Saturday, was fantastic of the meat ones.

Just GO if you want great quality, simple & authentic Mexican options! It’s ALL good.

Suggest counter staff could definitely make more of an attempt at being welcoming & friendly. My order taker came across as indifferent or mildly annoyed with everyone.

The food was so good that the above didn’t affect the rating.

A hidden gem in 5 Points, Taqueria Cinco has the best authentic Mexican food in town. I’ve been here for lunch and dinner and it has been delicious every time. The owner is here a lot and keeps the quality at its highest. This place is casual and very clean. If the weather permits, try sitting at the tables that are outside in the back, it’s a cozy setting with a great atmosphere.
Every time I come here I see people taking pictures of their food, and the food tastes just as good as it looks, so appetizing.

Awesome new addition to 5 points and Jacksonville. The food is amazing!! Drinks are very good, especially for being a wine based. The decor and atmosphere is comfy, trendy and makes you want to hang out all night.
Small space, I wouldn't recommend bringing in strollers or big groups, unless you sit on the back patio.
