Yah Suh Nice Jamaican Cuisine

I just tried Yah Suh Nice which serves Jamaican food last night, and I was super impressed by the food. I ordered the steamed fish with cabbage and peas and rice, as well as the escoveitch snapper with plantains, cabbage, and peas and rice.

The steamed fish was cooked perfectly. It was tender and had a delicious flavor. The cabbage was also good, not too crunchy and not soggy. The peas and rice were also very good and not dry, with okra, peppers, corn, and sweet potato that all had great flavor.

The escoveitch snapper, which came with peppers, onions, cabbage, peas and rice, and plantains. The plantains were cooked just like I like them, soft and sweet! You can see that Yah Suh Nice uses fresh herbs in all of their food, and the seasoning is on point.

The portions are enormous! Whether you're eating there or taking it to go, it will be served in a to-go box, probably because there's no way to finish this amount of food in one sitting! I got three meals out of each order!

The food was very hot and fresh, and I can't wait to go back and try the shrimp curry!

First time trying out this restaurant and everything was amazing from customer service to the food. I had the brown stew fish which was a nice size & the flavor was there. I’ll be back!

Amazing flavor and wonderful service. I stopped in for lunch today and ordered the Jerk chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. The lunch portion was very generous, the chicken was fall off the bone tender and loaded with flavor. The sauce complimented it well and was great over the peas and rice. The restaurant was sparkling clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to bring my family for dinner and try the oxtails next time!

Ordered oxtail, rice, and chicken patty today. The patty didn’t make it to the house! Killed that in the car! The portion to price was perfect. The oxtail and patty was super flavorful. Thank you! Salt the rice a little more and spruce up your location then y’all will be perfect! Either way I enjoyed the food. Thank you!

Today was my first time visiting and everything was on point. The customer service was great and the time it took to get my food was pretty quick. I had the Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, and steamed cabbage. All of the flavors were there and everything taste freshly made. I will definitely be back!
