“This location is crazy convenient for me so I’m so glad that when I went for the first time this morning I found out the drinks and staff are awesome. Usually at the window they just kind of close the door and let you sit there and wait but the gentleman actually sat there and had a conversation with me, which is nice because I’m a talker lol then when the drink came I was a little confused because I add caramel to my vanilla bean and usually I can see the caramel and this time I couldn’t but he explained how they mixed the syrup in with everything else instead of the drizzle inside the cup which actually ended up being even better because I don’t like the way the caramel clogs my straw.. all in all great experience and this is definitely my new morning Starbucks !”

“We love love love Silkies! I order something new every time - so far I’ve had the FL GA boy, Korean, and Chicken Salad Sandwich. All are amazing. My fiancé gets the Flavor Bomb every time - and talks about it all the time. Chef Gilbert’s desserts are amazing too! We’ve had the hot chocolate cake, strawberry cobbler, and bread pudding (the bread is a special but it is soooo good). We are so lucky that we have such a delicious restaurant on our neighborhood!”

Big juicy burgers, delicious crispy chicken sandwich, lunch special of 1 piece fish+5shrimp, fish diners, sides of fried okra, fried mushrooms, and fries. Everything is cooked fresh to order. This does mean wait times can be a little long, but your food is always piping hot. They are also very accommodating with order customization. They are a little heavy-handed with the fry seasoning, but I just order mine without it. We'll keep going back. We're very happy for this new edition to the neighborhood. The second time I ordered from this restaurant, the very friendly lady answered with "hey friend, would you like..." and repeated the exact order me and my boyfriend had made weeks before within a second, which is exactly what we wanted.
