Vicious Biscuit Neptune Beach

When you see a 4.7 or higher rating on businesses don't hesitate to go. However, this is my second viscous biscuit that I've been to. I've been to the one in South Carolina and now this one in JAX. They are on par the same when it comes to the service and the food. This is by far my most favorite breakfast restaurant of all time. I'm always craving it. Please do yourself a favor and get the bird and the Belgian with a side order of candied bacon. It's is so delicious. Please see pictures below of my order. Food is good and hearty! Had the shrimp and grits and the Fat Boy sandwich. First time having a biscuit in my shrimp and grits. Biscuit was soft and fluffy. Chicken was nicely fried. Also, had sweet pups for dessert and mimosa. Left there full and happy. Great service too!

We tried them out for the first time on a Sunday for brunch. Although there was a line to order, their service was great throughout our dining experience. You can expect a lot of people when you go in, but it’s a touristy area so that’s a part of the experience.

The sweet potato waffle was ridiculously good, with and without the butter and syrups from the bar. We also tried the Vicious and Fat Boy biscuits which were flavorful and warm throughout. The Vicious biscuit had peppers and other stuff in it, and the Fat Boy chicken was mildly spicy with great pimento cheese. We live in the Jacksonville area and definitely plan to return often!

My family took me father's day breakfast. Didn't really know what to expect. Overall it was a great experience. They do not accept reservations, so we were concerned about seating. It may have been the timing of our arrival, but we were in good shape. There was a line out of the door, but there was plenty of seating. We ordered sat. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to the creative biscuit featured menu, they have a selection of flavored butters jellies, and jams. Heads up, place is a little noisy. You can still have a conversation, but it is a bit loud and if you are hard of hearing, you may need to ask your table mates to repeat themselves. Now The food. We all got some type of biscuit hybrid dish and overall, they were great. The biscuits are amazing. Light, soft, and melts easily in your mouth. I had the shrimp and grits. The grits are really smooth and creamy. Plenty of flavor, but the shrimp were on the salty side. Great overall experience, I will return.

There can be a line, so go at off hours or get there early, especially on nice weather days. They redid the interior nicely but it can get very noisy. We ordered and waited for our food and the biscuits came out steaming hot and so did the sausage, but the eggs were room temperature and the cheese wasn't melted. They have a nice bar with different flavored butterss and jams for your biscuits. The staff was friendly and someone was constantly coming by the Table to check on us or clear plates. Overall, the biscuits are better than Maple Street, but go with an appetite and be prepared to be full the rest of the day.
